Monday Roll Call
Nice out this morning. I had one mug of coffee and went for a stroll. Squirrels and birds and a bunny signaling my arrival. Cats in a second story window watching the birds.
Cheryl got up yesterday and was getting ready for work before she realized it was not Monday yet. We lazed around and watched cooking shows until time to go to Freegeek. Time to pay the rent and then I think some Python or Django.

Good Morning Everyone!
It is a much nicer Monday than the last one! Too bad we have to spend it inside working. Oh well, money is good.
I had a great weekend. We really enjoyed Cheyenne's visit. The cats loved her. We went to Grand Bear Resort on Saturday to their indoor amusement park. That was a lot of fun. They have rides, and arcade games. She was disappointed because the zip line was not operating due to the rain. It was outdoors along with the miniature golf. Oh well we cant have everything.
Today Buffy goes in for her first doctor visit. She has grown like a weed but is extremely spoiled. She loves playing with her big brothers. Gizmo will play with her but then gets tired of her and goes up on a shelf on the wall where he is safe from her and she cant get to him. 
He doesn't remember that he was the pest not too long ago.
Not much planned for the week other than a hair cut.

Good Morning on a beautiful day, even if is a Monday.
I have already been to the hospital for labs that I needed to be done. Now I am enjoying my first cup of coffee for the day.
I have a few things to do this morning, then outside to help Hubert.
We had a nice day yesterday with Monica, Scott and Morgan. Monica and I worked on stuff for Rainbow, and Hubert and Scott dug more post holes for the rest of the deck. We then enjoyed a picnic dinner out side. That's my favorite way to eat during the summer. We don't do it often, so it is always a treat.
Connie, You go to Social, it was written up in MIDWEST LIVING. It sounds great. Maybe I can get Hubert to go on a road trip one day.
Dawn, your picture of the rest of your lamps look great. Mine is the one you have on the right. I switched the ends to make it hang up, instead of down. I am trying to get it posted. I also like the pretties you have placed on your porch. It looks very inviting. Now I am thinking of painting my swing and bench on our front porch. Plus the wrought iron colonms need to be painted. Maybe start on those later this morning.
Crystal, you are having to much fun with Chris, enjoy.

Chilly sunny morning. I'll take it. The sun is the deal-breaker for me.
I have an annual doctor's appointment today with my cardiologist to check my BP.
The entire reason i decided to have the WLS was because I had to go on BP bills 2 years ago. I was so upset then, to have to take a pill for the rest of my life. I was so sure after losing the weight and regularly exercising, I could be weaned off these dern pills. BUT, everytime i get my pressure taken it is normal. I doubt he will take me off them. That will be the discussion today.
I have a lot on my mind. I need to find a real job, but the pickins' are slim. I have to give it to God. The stress is bugging me.
I want to end this on a positive note.........so let's see............
My grandbaby helped paint her pink room. The end result made me smile..........she always makes me happy.

What the sun is a deal breaker??? what??? I love the sun...maybe not the humidity.
I was on BP meds too but I was so lucky as I was taken off them almost immediately. I lost a little weight and I started to feel very light headed and dizzy. It turned out my BP was going to low. So I was taken off them. Now even with all the antihistimines (which is supposed to elevate your BP) I'm on...my BP still hovers around 105/75.
As far you go I don't see why they can't do a trial run. Just see how thing go if your BP spikes up then you go back on them again.

We went to Madison to the doc today. I have a new fistula (now 4). I was somewhat worried but he isn't concerned. When we get home from vacation he will do an MRI because I am so allergic to contrast dye they use in a Cat scan. Everything else is OK so he is willing to wait since I want to. Any amount of weight I lose will be a bonus so I have to start making a serious commitment to this. I have always hated exercise and even though I have done it diligently many times over, it has never helped with weight loss. Well, at least it adds to health.
Yes Social was featured in Midwest Living. That was exciting. It is the kind of place where you share a table with others (thus the name Social). If you plan to check it out you might want to check the menu online at social509.com. It is a place that has an unusual menu and people either like it or hate it. I have probably had everything on the menu and it has all been delicious!but not typical!

Hi All,
Im hanging out in Chicago for a bit! Carl and I got here last Wednesday. It is to hot in Florida. We r going to Macinaw Island for a few days next week.
On a goid note ill be in Chicago a lot now! Im going to be a grandma! My daughter who lives here is having my first grandbaby! She is due in September! We r thinking maybe of doing the snowbird thing!
Other than that life is good!

Congratulations on the new grandbaby to be! How exciting is that! You will love being a grandma. That certainly makes it necessary to spend more time up north. Snowbirding sounds like a wonderful idea. My sister does that a lot. Her grandkids live in Florida but they have a home in Florida and in Indiana. They snowbird and avoid the hot summers. Enjoy your stay in the cooler weather and enjoy Macinaw. I love that place!
